We will keep to the following timeline towards the competition:

| Sun | 22 September 2024 | Registration deadline, 23:59 CET |
| Sun | 29 September 2024 | Pre-selection announcement (only in case of more than 50 subscriptions) |
| Tue | 1 October 2024 | Distribution of commissioned composition |
| Thu | 10 October 2024 | Announcement of compulsory repertoire |
| Thu | 14 November 2024 | Start of the competition |
